The USS Intrepid heads to Kaitos, in the Beta Quadrant system known as the Halle Sector. Her mission is mostly good will, but Kaitos has not been receiving its quarterly supplies. The El-Aurians prefer to grown their own crops and often require new seeds, along with new vaccinations and medical supplies.

Is this the result of the Romulan Empire’s destruction? Worse, has someone discovered Kaitos. If that was the case, the El-Aurians would reluctantly move closer to Federation space.

Another mystery, yet to be uncovered, will be unveiled by the Grand High Mistress. But she will only tell one El-Aurian aboard the starship Intrepid. Whom will it be?
