Trying To Apologize

The next morning, Mat and Jeri made their way to the quarters of her sisters. When they got there, they rang the chime and waited to be admitted. The doors opened and there was Mira and Kera, waiting for them to arrive. They were dressed in simple robes, they hoped that they would have sex with Mat.

Kira invited them in. Mat and Jeri sat on the couch. Before Mat could say anything, Kira looked at them, and a pained look came on her face. "YOU had sex with her! Don't deny it. We trusted you to take care of our sister, not seduce her!" Mat and Jeri had no words.

Kera walked over and slapped Mat across his face. Then she grabbed Jeri's arm and pulled her away from him. "Pack your bags, we're leaving the ship and HIM!" If looks could kill, Mat would be dead right there and then.

Jeri tried to explain that it was all her fault.

They asked Mat to immediately leave, and that he was to have no further contact with any of them.

Mat left the room and return to his quarters. He needed to get ready for his duty shift.

The three Vex sisters argued with each other. Jeri didn't want to leave the ship. What would happen to the restaurant?

"We'll have the Federation cancel the contract or give it to another group." Mira announced.

2 hours later, they boarded their shuttle and left.

Mat was on the bridge, sitting in the 2nd officer chair, and watched the shuttle warp away.
