| Physical Description | The closest way to describe Aurora is to compare her to a Selkie: living on both land and in the ocean. Aurora has a dorsal fin that can extend and retract like an accordion, sharp teeth that can also extend and retract, blueish brown skin, long black/blue hair that she wears in a braided bun unless off duty, gills, webbing between her fingers and toes that have extendable/retractable claws, and can communicate with any Terran aquatic being. Forgot to add that she frequently gets temporary tattoos of sea creatures, dragons, wolves, owls, and horses. |

| Personal History | Aurora's Mother, Mayling, and a group of explorers/colonists moved out of the Aquadian System a year before it was destroyed by a supernova, settling on a planet similar to their home world: covered mostly in water with only small islands scattered about it's surface since they were similar to Selkies. Ten years past, then one day, a Klingon ship crashed off the main island. Mayling helped rescue the crew and then impressed their leader, Koftet, with her fiery spirit as she defended them against some of her own who wanted to keep their existence secret by either killing the Klingons or forcing them to stay. In the three months it took to fix the ship and gather the necessary supplies so they could get to an outpost, Koftet and Mayling fell in love. When the Klingons left, Mayling left with them as Koftet's wife. Three years and many adventures later, Aurora was born on Kronos. When Aurora turned ten, the three of them settled on Earth, where Aurora discovered that she could talk to aquatic animals. When Aurora turned eighteen, she enlisted in Starfleet Academy, exceling in Marine Biology, language, and science. | |
